Dog is desperately looking for a new home – but there is a big problem: “Not a good first impression”
One or the other dog has been in the shelter for a long time – so has Taylor. He has been eking out his presence in the home for years.
That’s not nice for the male. But it is not easy to handle. However, the shelter now assures: This one dog is a hard shell with a soft core.
Dog Taylor desperate for a family – ‘Not a good first impression’
Taylor is a difficult dog. The milkling is not exactly sunshine. “If a stranger walks past his kennel,” reports the Delitzsch animal shelter, “he clearly shows what he thinks of it” – namely nothing.
So Taylor doesn’t always make the best first impression. But the animal shelter swears by its soft core. With the people he loves, he can be wonderful – “almost like a normal dog”. He enjoys playing ball, going for walks and being petted.
The dog as a companion of man:
- Domestication took place about 15,000 to 100,000 years ago
- the wild progenitor is the wolf
- there are around 500 million domestic dogs worldwide
- in Germany alone, nine million live as pets
But when Taylor gets uncomfortable, the friendship ends. Be it when visiting the vet, when it comes to treats or towards other male dogs. That’s why Taylor is so difficult to convey.
Dog Taylor Needs Help – “No One Will Save Him”
The Delitzsch animal shelter now needs people who can help Taylor. Even if the male can sometimes become aggressive, “it’s just an insecure little boy slumbering in it,” according to the animal shelter on Facebook.
We are looking for people who will give Taylor his space, but also show him that he cannot solve all his problems with his teeth. Then he could become a dog “with whom you can go through thick and thin together, as long as you let him have his rough edges”.
And if nobody can offer him a new home, the animal shelter is eagerly looking for sponsors for the young dog.
