Things didn’t look as good for Christian Eriksen on June 12, 2021, but the luck can’t end in 2022. At the end of January he signed a contract with Brentford and now he can represent his home country Denmark again.
Eriksen is one of 23 players called up by coach Kasper Hjulmand for the friendlies against the Netherlands on March 26 and against Serbia on March 29.
The Dane showed at Brentford that he is a footballer again. The Premier League team caught up with Eriksen after his contract with Inter Milan was forced out. After his cardiac arrest at the European Championship in the group match against Finland, Eriksen lives with a defibrillator and you are not allowed to play with it in Serie A.
Brentford is reviving the Dane’s football career and now he can play for his country again with Denmark.
Andreas Skov Olsen of Club Brugge is also part of the Danish selection.
