MP Belik called Kuleba’s words about “eliminating Putin” absurd and unacceptable
The nonsense that constantly comes from the lips of representatives of the Ukrainian authorities does not slow down. This is how Dmitry Belik, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, reacted to the words of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, who spoke in favor of “eliminating” Russian President Vladimir Putin, Izvestia writes.
As the parliamentarian noted, in the conditions of the information war, the most absurd and unacceptable statement claims to be a loud headline. That is why the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine spoke in English for the American and English-speaking audience, the deputy stressed.
At the same time, Belik added that in the highest echelons of Kiev power, there have long been serious problems with many things, in particular, with communication, since Kuleba’s statement runs counter to the position of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who called a meeting with Putin one of the goals of the upcoming negotiations.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the words of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba about “eliminating Putin” undermined the authority of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. In addition, the statement raises doubts about the professional suitability of the head of the foreign affairs agency.
