The protest will continue touring the Pass of La Castellana and will end in the Plaza de San Juan de la Cruz, headquarters of the Ministry of Ecological Transition. “This is one of the administrations responsible for difficult situation that crosses the Spanish rural world », the promoters assure in a statement.
The demonstration aims to say “enough of the continuous attacks and contempt of the Government of Spain”, in reference to the Executive of Pedro Sánchez. «The 20 M Rural is presented as a historic event that will bring together for the first time sectors such as agriculture, livestock, hunting, fishing and many others related to the rural world, but also many others affected by policies of the different autonomous administrations, the central government and the community institutions (EU) », argue the organizers.
In this protest, the rural sector will raise “their voices against to the abandonment of the rural world by the Government and in the face of policies incapable of solving the problems that affect the men and women of the countryside, who are being forced to abandon their way of life and their customs».
The organizers of the demonstration also call for the “massive participation of all those who want viable agriculture and livestock as the economic engine of the rural environment, preserve the traditions, uses and customs of the countryside and those who wish to support the existence of a living rural world.”
