This Monday, 14th, the selections of Poland and Scotland announced that they will hold a friendly on 24 March at Hampden Park in Glasgow to raise funds in support of the humanitarian response to Ukraine. The date was reserved for the dispute of the semi-finals of the qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, however, due to the invasion of Russia in the neighboring country, the fifa rescheduled the matches. Poland would face Russia, but the country was expelled from the World Cup and the opponents have already won by WO. Scotland, in turn, would face Ukraine and the game was postponed, still without a date to happen. The money collected in the match will be sent to the UNICEF and destined for the country. On the same date, Wales take on the field against Austria, Sweden against the Czech Republic, Italy against North Macedonia and Portugal against Turkey.
