The Jisap group has launched a project to reinforce sustainability in its centers through the development of several photovoltaic plants for self-consumption with a power of 2 MW. In this way, the company seeks to reduce both the level of polluting emissions, some 1,761 tons of CO2, and combat the increase in its energy costs.
To carry out this project, the Jisap group has relied on EiDF Solar, a company specializing in industrial self-consumption installations, to assume the design, execution and maintenance of all the self-consumption plants to be developed. Works at the different locations are expected to begin in the coming weeks.
The vast majority of the facilities, specifically 12 of them, are located in the region of Murcia, where the Jisap Group has its headquarters. In this way, the solar energy power to be installed in Murcia amounts to more than 1 MW.
The rest of the self-consumption plants are in Andalusia, with a total of 4 facilities totaling 747.5 kW, including the Piensos Jiménez factory in Jaén, and Castilla-La Mancha, with 3 facilities in Toledo with a volume of 215 kW of power.
