The couple informed this Saturday, the 12th, through a joint statement, that Charlene was already in Monaco again, with her family, and that she would continue her recovery for a few more weeks, before resuming her official duties.
“As a result of Princess Charlene’s encouraging recovery and the approval of her doctors, Their Highnesses are pleased to announce that the Princess will now continue her convalescence in the Principality, with her husband and children by her side. As a result, Princess Charlene has now returned to Monaco, where she was reunited with her family and loved ones. The coming weeks should allow her to further strengthen her health, before gradually resuming her official duties and commitments”the statement said.
It should be remembered that, in 2021, the princess spent six months in South Africa, her country of origin, recovering from a serious infection of the ears, nose and throat – due to which she underwent three surgeries -, having returned to Monaco. in November. At that time, her stay in the Principality was short, as a few days later the Royal House announced that Charlene would go to a clinic in Europe, but outside Monaco, to continue her recovery.
The prince must spend his birthday with the princess, their two children, the twins Jacques and Gabriellaand possibly with the two oldest children, jazmin and alexanderfruits of the sovereign’s previous relationships with Tamara Rotolo and Nicole Coste, respectively.
