gabriel yedlin He visited the LG Play studio this morning and spoke about his departure from Government House and joining the cabinet of the Ministry of National Social Development.
In an interview with the “GOOD DAY” newscast, the official clarified that he is still working in the area of provincial development, but advanced that the “idea” of John Zabaletathe national minister, is to “put together an area that looks to the North of Argentina and helps articulate social policies” for the entire region, made up of the NOA and NEA.
“The idea is to accompany the league of governors working with the provincial ministers of Social Development (…) There are realities that are northern, that in Buenos Aires are not taken into account when thinking about politics, such as the rural issue, the rural dispersed, the swallow workers and (the situation) of the original peoples”, said Yedlin
The official stressed that “one of the functions that we will have will be to articulate, because as we always insist, the needs of the people are integrated, with all the pertinent areas.” “We want to bring comprehensive responses to the north of the country,” he said.
Regarding the region, he expressed: “I believe that the north has enormous economic and production potential. The north is not poor, we are impoverished because they closed factories, they took away our trains, a product of the centralism that we lived through for decades and that today wants to change. It is time to distribute and generate more equity.”
As for his replacement, he added that “this is a decision of the governor Osvaldo Jaldoat this moment of such a particular political situation in which we live, I understand that they are looking for a concession to see who would be the right person.
