You are currently viewing Three deaths from Covid-19 and almost 1,500 new cases this Saturday in the Canary Islands

A total of three people have died in the Canary Islands from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, in such a way that the deaths in the archipelago since the start of the pandemic amount to 1,602, according to data provided by the Regional Government Health Department.

Regarding the new cases, 1,473 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported on the islands, so that the accumulated figure in the Canary Islands is 308,902, of which 15,278 are active, of which 30 are admitted to the ICU (without variation) , 285 remain hospitalized (-1) and 14,963 are at home.

By islands, Tenerife adds 862 cases to accumulate 141,744 cases, of which 7,863 are epidemiologically active; while Gran Canaria registers 424 more to accumulate 116,646 cases, of which 5,601 are active.

Likewise, Lanzarote adds 23 new cases and accumulates 20,876, of which 499 are active; while Fuerteventura registers 33 more positives and includes 15,074, of which 303 are active. La Palma, for its part, adds 87 new positives to accumulate 10,587, of which 705 are active.

Finally, La Gomera has 22 more new positives to accumulate 2,040, of which 198 cases are active, and El Hierro adds 22 new cases to include 1,935, of which 96 are active.

As for the Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands, it stands at 402.03 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 849.61 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Until this Saturday, a total of 3,326,991 diagnostic tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 6,554 correspond to this Thursday.
