There have been many rumors for a long time that the Samsung Galaxy Note family will no longer be released. These rumors actually came as no surprise. That’s because Samsung hasn’t launched a new Galaxy Note model since the Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra launched in 2020. However, the company took a different step this year, adding the S Pen with the internal slot, which is the most important part of the Galaxy Note family, to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Thus, the S22 Ultra turned into a kind of new Galaxy Note model. Now, during MWC 2022, the fate of the Galaxy Note series has become clear.

According to Dailian, Roh Tae-moon, head of Samsung’s smartphone division, told reporters at MWC 2022 that the Galaxy Note will be released as “Ultra” from now on. The report states that Tae-moon is referring to the Ultra version of the Galaxy S, the latest of which was launched earlier this month as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Rumors of the end of the Note series surfaced in mid-2020, and it was claimed that Samsung wanted to shift its focus to foldable smartphones.
