TBILISI, Feb 26 – Sputnik. An act of censorship and a violation of freedom of speech, this is how Sputnik assessed the blocking of Sputnik Moldova websites and the cessation of radio broadcasting by the Moldovan authorities, RIA Novosti reports.
“Blocking Sputnik Moldova websites and stopping broadcasting of Sputnik radio is an act of censorship and a flagrant violation of the values of freedom of speech on the part of the Moldovan authorities,” the Sputnik press service told RIA Novosti.
The editors of Sputnik Moldova previously told RIA Novosti that they had received a notification from the authorities of the republic about the blocking of the site from February 26, radio broadcasting from March 7.
