Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The President of Mexico Andrés Manuel López Obrador will spend the night in Mazatlán before starting his tour of southern Sinaloa, according to official information.
The Director of Welfare and Social Development, Tonatiuh Guerra Martínez, reported that they already have the itinerary that the president will have during his stay in the state.
He said that it is contemplated to arrive at this port on Saturday afternoon, after having held his agenda of activities in the state of Nayarit.

He clarified that it is unknown if Lopez Obrador would have some activity for the night of tomorrow that is crowned at Mazatlan Carnival Queen.
He said it is estimated that at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday he will make a supervision tour of the Picachos dam, where work is currently being carried out that is contemplated to benefit the agricultural sector.
Subsequently, the President of Mexico will travel to the Sierra de El Rosario, where he will verify the progress of the construction of the Santa María dam.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s tour in Sinaloa will conclude with a visit to the Marías Islands, a complex that is planned to be used as a tourist attraction.
