A footballer has denounced on his Twitter account that he was the victim of an attack during a match played in Gran Canaria. The player in question is Aitor Suárez and is part of the Estrella CF squad, which played UD Vecindario on Friday. The match was played at the Municipal de Vecindario and ended in a goalless draw.
“Last night I suffered an attack from player 6 of the UD Vecindario, it is the first time that playing soccer they do this to me, and they do it in a cowardly way, and in a treacherous way. The issue is in the hands of justice and the relevant federation, from here I want to denounce, ”Suárez wrote on the social network, attaching three images that show how his face looked after the alleged attack.
Numerous users have spoken out in the soccer player’s publication, which has received as much criticism as shows of support after what happened.
