At least five people have died in a bus accident in central Turkey. This is reported by TASS with reference to the A Khaber TV channel.
According to the channel, 26 people were injured in the accident. They were taken to nearby hospitals with injuries of varying severity.
At the time of the accident, the tourist bus went off the road and overturned. The accident occurred between the settlements of Aksaray and Konya.
“According to preliminary data, Russian citizens [в аварии] no. The embassy has not received any appeals from Russian citizens in connection with the accident,” the Russian embassy in Turkey said.
In October, in the south of Turkey in Antalya, nine Russian citizens were injured in an accident with a tourist bus. The driver of the vehicle lost control, crossed the dividing line and jumped into the oncoming lane, after which he rolled over.
