The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, has assured that the Specialized Health Training test, attended by 28,714 people for 10,634 places, is “unique” and has stressed that, “once the exam has been carried out, the questions are published”.

This is what Darias said at a press conference this Wednesday at the end of the meeting of the Interterritoirial Health Council, when asked about the possibility of enabling another exam date for applicants for the MIR position who cannot attend the tests of this January 29 when they are infected with COVID, as requested by the CSIF union.

“It is an exam that the members of the delegated commissions have been working on for many months,” emphasized the person in charge of Health, explaining that, once the test is over, “the questions prepared in the previous seven months are uploaded and published” , so “the only way to guarantee the system is for it to be a single test”.

More than 28,700 people opt for the 10,634 health training places in Medicine, Nursing, Biology, Pharmacy, Psychology, Chemistry and Physics.

According to the minister, this year there has been an increase of 2,363 places for Specialized Training and she has said that the tests are carried out in 28 localities of the 17 autonomous communities.
