Two vehicles of people from Mendoza were involved in a fatal accident this Friday afternoon on National Route 188, about 6 kilometers west of the entrance to the town of Adolfo Van Praet, in the direction of Realicó, in the province of La Pampa.
The collision occurred between a gray Toyota Corolla in which 4 people were traveling and a dark blue Citroen C3 that had 5 occupants. The passengers of the latter all died on the spot as a result of the serious injuries sustained.
Of the 5 occupants of the Citroën, 4 of the victims remained inside the passenger compartment, which was overturned after the impact, on his left side, while a creature was found lifeless among the grasslands after being fired from it.
While, The passengers of the Toyota were rescued by medical personnel and Volunteer Firefighters in the area, to then be rushed to the Realicó hospital, where one of the victims, a child, would have lost his life in the transfer.
For hours the route remained completely cut off from both roads, so that scientific personnel could work on the site.
Local authorities detailed that the Toyota car was heading from West to East, while the Citroën was moving in the opposite direction. But for unknown reasons, both shots collided head-on. The identities of those involved have not been released at this time.
After the collision, which has not yet been revealed by the experts, the Corolla, based in Maipú, was crossed on the asphalt strip, while the C3, with documentation in Mendoza, ended up overturned a few meters on the north side.
