Graciela Ocaña, national deputy and former head of PAMI, will denounce Luana Volnovich, current director of the organization, and deputy director Martín Rodríguez, who will resume their duties next Monday after their vacations in Mexico, for “having breached the function they have determined by decree”.
Both responsible for the organism are a couple and spent their vacations together on the paradisiacal island of Holbox, about 140 kilometers north of Cancun, news that did not go down well with the opposition, but also had its internal complaints in Todos.
According to La Nación, Ocaña stated that both will be criminally charged for simultaneously traveling abroad: “We are going to file a complaint because they have failed to fulfill the function they have determined by decree.”
Next week will be the time of the presentation. The truth is that the decree says that the deputy director must replace the director in case of absence. Since they were both on vacation together, this was not possible.
“There is no possibility of delegating a signature. In the event of the absence or incapacity of both, the Executive Branch must appoint a replacement by decree, albeit temporarily,” he remarked.
Volnovich and Rodríguez were in Mexico, while María Alejandra Fernández, Secretary General of PAMI Administration, was not on duty either. That was not all, since Eduardo Pérez, secretary of Sanitary Policies, was not on duty either, and trustee Rayen Nazareno Castro Bergamín was also on vacation.
Last Wednesday, Deputy Ocaña, together with her peers from Together for Change, They had submitted a request for information on the Caribbean vacations of the pair of PAMI authorities.
