'More than forty alleged victims of The Voice unite in WhatsApp group'

In the group, the alleged victims have shared multiple stories about their negative experiences with the program, according to RTL Boulevard.

On Saturday morning, RTL released a statement announcing that the channel group will stop broadcasting for the time being The Voice of Holland. The channel and producer ITV have received reports of possible sexually transgressive behavior and abuse of power. RTL has launched an independent investigation into the allegations.

The allegations came to light through the BNNVARA program BOOS and according to the program involve several employees. Band leader Jeroen Rietbergen is one of those employees. He said in a statement on Saturday that he will stop immediately at The Voice.

The Central Netherlands Public Prosecution Service was reported this week for sexually transgressive behavior during the talent show. Although the Public Prosecution Service does not want to say who has been reported to, Ali B informs De Telegraaf that it concerns him. “I am 100 percent convinced of my innocence. It is an accusation about something that would have happened a long time ago, but that is not true.”
