A truck lost much of its load of cement and caused a chain crash

This past Saturday at noon there was a spectacular chain crash on Avenida de Circunvalación, specifically between the bridges of Urquiza and España streets, in the Capital. Caused by the detachment of the load of a truck.

According to witnesses to the event, a large vehicle was carrying a large load of cement bags, which came off while it was traveling on the A14 as it ascended to the España avenue bridge. The vehicles that came behind, upon seeing the situation, suddenly braked and, due to the speed that some of them were carrying, collided in a chain.

Unfortunately, six people had to be hospitalized for injuries, including a baby who was in a Volkswagen Up, but they ruled out that his life was at risk. All those hospitalized are out of danger, they assured.

In the external ring, of the commonly called Circunvalación, some bags, pallets and a large amount of dust were scattered.

The cars that participated in the impact, which were six, were visibly damaged, since due to the abrupt maneuver of avoiding the detachment of the load or braking immediately, most could not avoid the impact between them.
