With 139,853 new cases, Argentina again exceeded the record for infections

Argentina today reported 96 new deaths and 139,853 positive cases of coronavirus, reported the Ministry of Health, adding that, with these data, there are 117,901 deaths and 6,932,972 those infected since the start of the pandemic.

The health portfolio added that there are 2,268 hospitalized in intensive care units, with a percentage of adult bed occupancy of 41.7% in the country and 41.4% in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA).

Of the 6,932,972 infected, 5,878,689 have already been discharged, while 936,382 cases remain active.

The report stated that this Sunday 47 men and 46 women were reported as deceased, and one person was reported without sex data.

The part specified that the 47 men correspond 8 to the Province of Buenos Aires, 4 to CABA, 4 to Chaco, 1 to Chubut, 7 to Córdoba, 1 to Entre Ríos, 1 to Formosa, 2 to La Pampa, 2 to Mendoza, 1 to Río Negro, 8 to Salta, 3 to San Luis, 3 to Santa Fe, and 2 to Santiago del Estero.

The 46 women are 13 from the Province of Buenos Aires, 6 from CABA, 1 from Chaco, 1 from Chubut, 11 from Córdoba, 1 from Entre Ríos, 1 from La Rioja, 1 from Misiones, 1 from Neuquén, 1 from Río Negro , 8 from Salta, 1 from San Luis and 2 from Santa Fe.

Today, 52,577 cases were registered in the province of Buenos Aires; in the City of Buenos Aires, 21,361; in Catamarca, 938; in Chaco, 2,618; in Chubut, 1,513; in Corrientes, 338; in Cordoba, 16,096; in Entre Ríos, 2,438; in Formosa, 1,292; in Jujuy, 2,986; in La Pampa, 1,250; in La Rioja, 353; in Mendoza, 4,253; in Misiones, 363; in Neuquén, 1,473; in Rio Negro, 957; in Salta, 3,790; in San Juan, 2,309; in Saint Louis, 2,425; in Santa Cruz, 1,051; in Santa Fe, 11,174; in Santiago del Estero, 2,273, in Tierra del Fuego, 576 and in Tucumán, 5,449.

The Ministry also indicated that 200,265 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and since the beginning of the outbreak there have been 30,257,041 diagnostic tests for this disease.

The total accumulated by district indicates that the province of Buenos Aires adds 2,664,198 cases; the City of Buenos Aires, 754,325; Catamarca, 66,211; Chaco, 127,460; Chubut, 96,265; Currents, 109,448; Cordova, 756,239; Between Rivers, 161,832; Formosan, 74,096; Jujuy, 73,218; La Pampa, 83,830; La Rioja, 37,889; Mendoza, 210,791; Missions, 42,160; Neuquen, 140,864; Rio Negro, 121,649; Jump, 128,573; Saint John, 95,916; St. Louis, 103,645; Santa Cruz, 76,501; Santa Fe, 592,695; Santiago del Estero, 109,728; Tierra del Fuego, 37,508 and Tucumán, 267,931.
