The Admira has made a successful start to the spring preparations. In the first test match, the Südstadt-based team celebrate an unchallenged 4-1 win against Regionalliga East club FC Marchfeld Donauauen.
New signings Samuel Major, Jan Vodhanel and Vladimir Nikolov are all in the starting XI and making their debuts for the Bundesliga club. In the 27th minute, Vodhanel promptly scored for a 1-0 lead. After the break, coach Andreas Herzog brings ten new players, including Tin Vastic, the son of Ivica Vastic.
The 20-year-old striker, who is actually with Admira Juniors, can celebrate the goal to make it 2-0 just six minutes after the restart. Thomas Ebner (62nd) made it 3-0 a little later, Christoph Kröpfl (68th) scored the Marchfeld consolation goal. Dominik Starkl (83rd) creates the final score in the final phase.
Admira played in the first half: Hadzikic; Major, Schmiedl, Brugger, Ostrzolek; Malicsek, Elmkies; Ganda, Kerschbaum, Vodhanel; Nikolov.
Admira played in the second half: jenciragic; Zwierschitz, Datkovic, Bauer, Lukacevic; Ebner, Elmkies; Starkl, Babuscu, Gattermayer; Vastic.
