They seek the necessary permits for the construction of the boardwalk on the river in Salvador Alvarado

Guamúchil, Sinaloa.- The director of Economic Development of the Salvador Alvarado City Council, Elías Barrientos Limas, informed that together with the deputy director of Public Works and the regional director of Codesin of the north central zone, Eduardo Cuadras, they presented before the technical director of the Conagua, Ramón López, the project that Mayor Armando Camacho Aguilar has, for the construction of a jetty over the river, in search of obtaining the necessary permits to execute it in this federal zone.

Barrientos Limas, expressed that Conagua will provide the necessary support to make the project feasible and give it the green light, he even said that they provided some important documentation such as the updated river channel and the areas that can be used in this work, He also gave them a list of the current concessionaires so that they can talk with them and allow them access for the execution of the project.

The municipal official commented that Conagua promised to review the progress that the municipal government is having in the boardwalk project, to give it the necessary instructions and once completed, to be able to incorporate it into the request for works that are executed in Conagua and the delimitation of federal land for the City Council.

Elías Barrientos, stated that the boardwalk is projected in its first stage in 2.8 kilometers, from the left side of the hill crossing almost to San Pedro and back to the cover that is near the Veterans club, indicated that until now they only work on the project and that the width of the work, nor the costs, have not yet been defined.

The director of Economic Development pointed out that the project is progressing well, in fact the topographical survey, the hydraulic analysis of the water consumption that the riverbed must have, the construction procedure and many documents that will improve this management have already been delivered.
