The AFA reported the decision to require the complete vaccination scheme for athletes, members of the technical bodies and referees to be able to participate in the upcoming season that has a start date in February.

In a meeting that took place on the Ezeiza property with 23 leaders present, “Chiqui” Tapia headed this conclave from which an official bulletin was released in which, among other points, this subject is discussed.

“In accordance with the Agreement reached between the AFA and FAA on 01.10.2022, it is urged that all soccer players, members of technical bodies and referees who participate in the tournaments organized by the Argentine Soccer Association have with at least two doses of vaccination against Covid-19 ”, began the official statement.

“In this sense, the way in which said information must be communicated by the clubs to this Association will be set in due time,” he continued.

Said communication was included in the entity’s Bulletin No. 6041, which also offered a post for those who need the doses to be fit and be able to compete in the next season of Argentine soccer: “Likewise, for those athletes, members of the Corps Technicians and Referees who wish to complete their vaccination schedule, the AFA will establish a vaccination center in the facilities of the ‘Julio H. Grondona’ Premises for these purposes”.

The Professional League Cup has a start date for February 13 and all players are expected to comply with the regulations to go out on the field of play.
