the minister of Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes determined this Friday, 14th, that the Federal police listen to people who’ve been with Robert Jefferson when he recorded a video in which he said “pray in Xandão’s disfavor”. At the time, the former president of the PTB was hospitalized at Hospital Samaritano Barra, where he underwent a catheterization. Moraes responded to a request from the Attorney General’s Office (PGR). “As indicated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, it is essential to hear from people who had contact with Roberto Jefferson on October 13 and 14, 2021 (date on which the video would have been recorded) to enable the identification of the person responsible(s) for its disclosure”, says the dispatch. The magistrate gave a period of 15 days for the PF to collect the testimonies, including that of nurses and security guards. In the video released by the portal Metrópoles, Jefferson said he prayed against Moraes, whom he calls “Xandão”, and asks God to “crush tyranny”. The politician has been in prison since August 13 for threats to STF ministers.
