PEOPLE – Kanye West is talking about him again, but not really for good reasons. The artist, whose career will be told in a documentary soon to be broadcast on Netflix, is accused of violence. The one who is now called Ye is suspected of assault and battery on a fan. An investigation was opened after the filing of a complaint this Thursday, January 13 with the Los Angeles police, according to Variety confirming information from TMZ.
The rapper, who has not been arrested for the time being, is accused of punching a fan in the face who came to ask him for an autograph. According to Redina Puentes, spokesperson for the Los Angeles police, the facts took place around 3 a.m. in the Californian city.
Witnesses cited byTMZ report that Kim Kardashian’s ex punched the fan in the head and neck, after telling a small group of people outside the private club “Soho Warehouse” that he did not wish to be photographed. A video posted on the site people shows a man lying on the ground, while in anger, the rapper shouts at a woman. If tried, he faces a six-month prison sentence if found guilty.
According to American media, the artist had spent part of Wednesday evening in a nightclub with his new girlfriend, Julia Fox. He would have left the club without her.
