L-Ghent never ceases to surprise at every step of his career. The Cumbia 420 singer collaborated with Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra and American Justin Quiles, of Puerto Rican descent. After several weeks of anxiety on the part of their fans, the three artists released the song “I came back” along with a video clip that they premiered on YouTube, where each one brings their own style and finally amalgamates their voices in the chorus. In just three hours they exceeded 250,000 views and positioned themselves in Twitter trends.
As planned and had been announced throughout the week, on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. they released their new material. In the networks, the expectation grew around the participation of the young Argentine from General Rodríguez, since pop and reggaetón are not the musical genres that he used to venture into. However, last November he had already surprised in “Bar”, the feat with Tini Stoessel that sounds in the radio rankings these days and became one of the songs of the summer.
Now it was the turn of the ex-boyfriend of the actress and singer, with whom she shared several hours of filming to film the video clip they recently released, with an urban aesthetic. Along with a fun behind-the-scenes photo, Yatra had swept him away a few hours earlier under the unknown: “Could it be that we finally let her go?” As soon as it landed on digital platforms, the theme aroused great interest in the virtual world and many praised the 21-year-old artist for being encouraged to explore other facets and add his rhymes to the final stretch of the melody.
Elián Ángel Valenzuela, his real name behind the artistic nickname that has accompanied him since 2018, entered the world of music at the age of 15 when he bought a computer and began recording his first songs. His first success came with “Uno mas uno”, and then “L-Gante RKT”, a song in which he details the entertainment in the slums in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. In 2020 he achieved fame and the whole previous year surprised him with dream proposals: he collaborated with the renowned music producer Bizarrap, Damas Gratis and Marita Lescano, Fanux BB and Tini.
2021 became the most important year, since he was the father of Jamaica, his first daughter with his girlfriend, Tamara Báez. In fact, this recent musical release coincided with the baby’s fourth birthday, and her parents prepared a candy bar for her in Pinamar, with a cake and cupcakes to celebrate the special date. Apparently the family has made it a tradition to celebrate each month of the girl, and each time they choose different themes to honor her.
Last year L-Gante also visited Mirtha Legrand’s table for the first time, under the leadership of Juana Viale, and shortly after, while dividing his time between his schedule of shows and his first months as a father, he also participated in the grand finale from ShowMatch’s “La Academia” and surprised with his sincerity when it comes to giving returns. Just started 2022, he surprised everyone again with his brand new feat with the Colombian singer and was proud of the result on his Instagram account.
