"Gestapo" macrista: They investigate whether those accused by the judicial table used encrypted phones

The investigation carried out by the federal justice system in La Plata on the Buenos Aires judicial table to persecute union leaders during the management of María Eugenia Vidal, now accused in the case, also focuses on the use of encrypted or satellite telephony to communicate between members of said table. In this sense, Judge Ernesto Kreplak asked the Federal Intelligence Agency (AFI) to “report – after lifting the security classification in accordance with Title V of Law 25,520– if there are records from the records of that agency that realize that they have been assigned” these types of telephones to the accused.

The request specifically mentions Adrián Grassi (former Provincial Undersecretary of Justice); Roberto Gigante (former Minister of Infrastructure); the provincial senator of Juan Pablo Allan; the mayor of La Plata, Julio Garro; Diego Dalmau Pereyra, former director of Counterintelligence of the AFI; Darío Biorci, former chief of staff of Silvia Majdalani; and Juan Sebastián De Stéfano, former head of the Legal Department of the spy center.

It also requires that same information about the rest of the defendants, the former Buenos Aires Labor Minister, Marcelo Eugenio Villegas; Marcelo Jawroski (director of the Copetro company and vice president of the Greater La Plata Industrial Union); Ricardo Alconada (president of the company Ocsa); and Guillermo Moretto (President of the College of Architects of La Plata).

It also includes Jorge Oscar Del Río (vice president of the Buenos Aires Province Construction SMEs Association Apymeco); Fabián Cusini (real estate developer, president of Agrineco); Fernando Sacrachi (director of ACIP) and Bernardo Zaslascky (director of Acimco, Association of Merchants and Industrialists in Construction Materials).

The judge wants to know if all of them had “encrypted or satellite telephone devices” and, if so, asked the AFI to “indicate their subscriber numbers and if they were returned” to that agency.

The defendants are those who participated in a meeting held in 2017 at the Buenos Aires headquarters of Banco Provincia, in which it was agreed to advance in the construction of legal cases to persecute union leaders, a strategy that, according to the audios that emerged, It would have the endorsement of Buenos Aires attorney Julio Conte Grand.

Conte Grand was summoned for next Tuesday to the bicameral intelligence subcommittee of the National Congress, where Commissioner Hernán Cassasa confirmed on Thursday that the audios in which he mentions the actions of the macrista “judicial table” and in which details who were the officials that comprised it.

Days ago, the justice had already ordered an investigation of former Governor Vidal’s phone calls to determine if she had participated in the assembly of the judicial table, but a similar measure has not yet been decided for the case of Conte Grand.

as counted Page 12, Judge Kreplak, in addition to ordering the identification of María Eugenia Vidal’s telephone numbers in order to analyze her calls, asked the Buenos Aires government to hand over the computer that the current deputy used in her time at the head of the province of Buenos Aires. The investigation tries to establish what his role was in the Buenos Aires judicial table and the assembly of judicial cases that is the axis of the file, for now around the accusations against the leader of the La Plata Uocra, Juan Pablo “Pata” Medina.

Judge Kreplak changed the cover of the file, expanded the list of defendants and specified some possible crimes: illicit association, abuse of authority, ideological falsehood of a public document and violation of the intelligence law. As a preliminary step to the exchange of calls, he asked to identify the landline and mobile phone numbers used by Vidal herself and by the officials gathered at Bapro, starting with the former Minister of Labor Marcelo Villegas, who was the one who put into words his desire to have a “Gestapo” of its own to “end the guilds”.

In parallel, next Tuesday it is expected that the legislators that make up that subcommittee -the deputies of the Frente de Todos Rodolfo Tailhade and Eduardo Valdés and the legislator of Together for Change Miguel Angel Bazze- carry out an ocular inspection at the headquarters of Banco Provincia to find out how the cameras that recorded the meeting in which there was talk of a “Gestapo” to persecute trade unionists were arranged.
