The Viluco Neighborhood Sports Playground was inaugurated, which will function as a recreation space and for the practice of a variety of sports such as basketball, volleyball and soccer. The act was led by the legislator Federico Masso, who highlighted the importance of “ending corruption linked to public works.”

Legislator Masso assured that this work implied an expense three times less than what it would have represented at the hands of the State administration or companies. “We have executed this work managing the resources of the national State with responsibility and transparency, and for that reason it has involved a third of the cost that it would represent if it were executed by the state administration or outsourced to a construction company.”

“Through these works we continue to give back to Tucuman men and women the confidence that a country with good management of resources is possible, where they are directed to improve the quality of life of citizens. But above all, we are sending a very clear message that public works should not be synonymous with corruption,” said the Free South referent.

Then, Masso emphasized the lack of agreements with the State to promote genuine work in this area. “The State has to invest in the areas that generate jobs in order to end the inequality gap that exists in Tucumán and Argentina. With this work we have not only built a space that will function as a retaining dam for our youth, but we have also given employment to 24 families. It is time to end the social patches once and for all and make agreements with the State to include these workers, who have proven to be highly trained, in genuine employment”, he concluded.
