The president of the bloc of national deputies of the PRO, Cristian Ritondo, came out yesterday to support former governor María Eugenia Vidal, facing a possible competition for the presidency in 2023, and defended his provincial management regarding the complaint for an alleged persecution of union leaders.

The legislator promptly referred to the video released by the AFI intervener, which led to a complaint for the alleged persecution of union leaders linked to the opposition. The recording shows a table made up of Vidal officials and construction businessmen talking about denouncing the criminal actions of the former head of the local Uocra Juan Pablo “Pata” Medina.

In the explanation given by the former Minister of Security, he indicates that the businessmen were denouncing that they were being threatened by the union member and that they encouraged them to denounce him; “We told them: we are going to accompany them.”

I know what María Eugenia did and the fight we had in the province of Buenos Aires. On the occasion of wanting to do [parecer] a judicial table, they are defending criminals, so they defend “Pata” Medina. They are criminals who grew up and consolidated with Kirchnerism and once again feel empowered with this government.

And regarding the video meeting, he says: “They never showed it in its entirety. There are businessmen who at that meeting say that they and their children are threatened, that their house is being shot and when they say that, what we say is: boys, report, we are going to do everything we can to accompany them. It was accompanying the victims. They accompany the criminals ”.
