Incarcerated in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier prison, Nordahl Lelandais will face justice on January 31, at the opening of his trial for the murder of little Maëlys in Grenoble. Before that, he made a somewhat unsettling request.
Experts are unanimous: Nordahl Lelandais would present a mixed personality disorder. It would even be indifferent to the feelings of others. On January 31, the trial of the former dog handler, accused of the murder of little Maëlys, who had disappeared during a wedding on the night of August 26 to 27, 2017, before her body will begin in Grenoble. be found a few days later. Already imprisoned for the murder of Arthur Noyer in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier prison, in Isère, since September 2017, Paris Match devotes a report to him while awaiting his passage in front of the assizes, and his trial for “crimes of sexual assault on two cousins, (…) minors of 15 years and for possession and recording of child pornographic images”.
Depicted as a man “incapable of feeling guilty”, Nordahl Lelandais, who pleaded accidental death for little Maëlys, however, made a request that was both appalling and puzzling about her. As our colleagues report, he has indeed asked the prison chaplain to go and meditate on his grave, a demand which was granted to him. Not enough, however, to relieve the father of the girl, who recently came out of silence to discuss his divorce with Maëlys’ mother, the loss of his job, but also the feeling he harbored against the murderer of his girl. “I expect nothing from Lelandais, but absolutely nothing. I expect nothing from this murderer, this child killer, this murderer”, he assured.
Maëlys’ father not convinced by Nordahl Lelandais
Resolved to simply want Nordahl Lelandais “never come out of jail again, never to hurt anyone again”, Joachim de Araujo does not believe at all in the accidental death pleaded by the 38-year-old man. “He will speak his truth, and to my mind, that’s anything and everything. I don’t believe in accidental death or night walks to show dogs. I don’t believe in his version at all. At three in the morning, you don’t take a child for a walk “, he confides, stating that for him, he abducted Maëlys “to sexually abuse her. He knew very well what he was going to do. It was kidnapping Maëlys, subjecting him to the worst abuses and getting rid of his body, as if it were common rubbish or garbage that was thrown on the side of the road. For me, he’s a monster. (…) He is a predator. He knew how to put her at ease “, he concluded.
