Ski or winter fashion? If the hottest designers have their way, from now on no distinction is made here. Because functional ski clothing is now an eye-catcher that is suitable for everyday use.

Chanel, Miu Miu or Chloè – more and more designers are moving functional ski clothing into the focus of their autumn / winter collections. What sounds absurd at first glance makes perfect sense. After all, during this special time many have rediscovered nature and the outdoors for themselves. We’ll show you the coolest designs that we will see more often on the streets in the future.

Inspired by the casual looks of snowboarders: inside

While ski fashion is usually a bit more delicate and tightly cut, snowboarders often go for wide, casual looks on the inside. This is exactly what Miu Miu was inspired by for the autumn / winter collection. Because on the designer’s catwalks you will find cool two-piece suits made of wide trousers and oversized quilted jackets that make our fashion hearts beat faster.

Fashion influencer Emili Sindlev proves that the trend has already arrived in street style, combining the brand’s beige look with rough boots and vintage sunglasses.

Not just two-piece: Chanel and Isabel Marant bring one-piece to the streets

At luxury shops like Mythersa or Net-a-porter, the stylish one-pieces have long been an integral part of ski fashion. Chanel is now taking the it-piece to the next level and combining it on the catwalk in a completely different way than we would on the slopes. The one-piece is staged here with a sparkling, skin-tight top, sandals and plenty of jewelry.

And Isabel Marant is also launching a winter collection together with Mytheresa, in which the ski one-piece is part of this year’s winter fashion. Under the photo they write: “Winter essentials on the march – this unmistakable design is the first choice when the temperatures drop and it gets really cold again”.

Chloè x Moonboots: We didn’t expect this comeback

For a long time, the clunky moon boots were frowned upon by fashion professionals. We also avoided the shoe as much as possible. But the brand’s cooperation with the luxury label Chloè puts the shoe in a new light.

Because as the model of the campaign shows, the shearling boot blends in wonderfully with a satin skirt, knitted sweater and lambskin vest and ensures a great look.

Balaclava guarantees warmth and comfort

Many people may still know the knitted accessory from their childhood days, when we wore the balaclava-like design under a bicycle helmet or a ski helmet in frosty temperatures. For a short time now, the accessory is no longer just a memento in our drawer, but is also represented in our favorite online shops. And we understand why. After all, the accessory combines a scarf, hat and sometimes even a kind of face mask that keeps us nice and warm even in cold temperatures.
