End of an era in the Xbox world: Microsoft has officially stopped production!

Microsoft expanded the Xbox game console family in 2020 with the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The new Xbox game consoles were natural rivals to the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. Now, there has been an important development in the focus of the previous generation game console Xbox One.

XBOX ONE CONSOLES STOP PRODUCTION

It has been officially confirmed that Microsoft has stopped production of all Xbox One consoles. “We stopped production of all Xbox One consoles at the end of 2020 to focus on Xbox Series X/S production,” Xbox executive Cindy Walker told The Verge.

Although Xbox One has not been produced since the end of 2020, Microsoft did not give any information about it until Walker’s announcement.

SONY DID THE EXACTLY REVERSE

In the past days, it was said that Sony still continues to produce PS4. It has been suggested that the company will produce approximately one million PS4 consoles in 2022.

With the official decision, Microsoft has now completely turned its production focus to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
