Dog left in closed car for 3 hours is rescued by police in Santa Catarina

Animal could barely react; The situation caused revolt and the animal’s owner was arrested in the act for the crime of mistreatment

A military police Santa Catarina held, this Wednesday, the 12th, the rescue of a dog left in a closed car in Camboriú Bathhouse, on the coast of the state. The agent used an iron bar to break the window of a luxury car, where the animal was. After managing to open the door, the dog of the breed french bulldog was found suffocated on the floor next to the back seat. He was pulled out of the vehicle almost without being able to react. Water was placed next to his snout and his body to lower his temperature and bring his breathing back to normal. The heat on the city street was 30ºC, but inside the vehicle it should be higher. The situation caused revolt and the animal’s tutor was arrested in the act for the crime of mistreatment. Police said French bulldog Kira was inside the vehicle for about three hours before being rescued. She was taken to a veterinary clinic, where she received oxygen and is doing well. Now, justice must decide the fate of the animal.
