Without champagne, starts the new Care Prices

The new basket of Care Prices, effective as of this week, contains 1,321 products from more than 100 companies. However, the bid between the Secretary of Commerce and the businessmen resulted in some changes, especially in “star” products such as extra brut champagne, light sodas and dairy products.

In the new agreement on Care Prices, the increases will be up to 6% quarterly, and will be applied in a phased manner starting tomorrow in supermarkets.

For example, in the new Cared Prices basket for January 2022, the Chandon brand succeeded in replacing the “Extra Brut” sparkling wine with the Mercier brand, from the same winery and cheaper.

Coca-Cola was able to remove the “Diet Coke” product from the list, although it maintains the 1.5-liter Original Flavor variant on the list.

The dairy company Mastellone managed to remove its 1-liter sachet milk from the “La Serenísima” brand from the list, and in its replacement managed to locate the same type of product but from the “La Armonía” line, its second brand, according to Ámbito. .

Another company that achieved a replacement was Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes. In the new agreement with the Ministry of Internal Trade, it released the product in a half-liter can “Quilmes”, and in exchange included the “Quilmes Bajo Cero” of 1 liter and the returnable jug of Quilmes of 340 cc.
