How much money will the beneficiaries receive per month?
This is an aid of 250 euros per month for 2 years.
Is it compatible with other aids?
The aid must be destined compulsorily by the beneficiary to the payment of the rental income or the transfer price of their habitual and permanent home and may not be compatible with any other aid that the autonomous communities and autonomous communities may grant for the payment of the rent or assignment. autonomous cities, local entities or any other administrations or public entities.
Exceptional cases in which the autonomous communities and cities of Ceuta and Melilla, municipalities, other public entities, non-governmental organizations or associations provide aid for the same purpose to especially vulnerable beneficiaries, understood as such, will not be considered affected by this incompatibility. for these purposes, those determined by the autonomous community or city of Ceuta or Melilla. Neither will the recipients of non-contributory Social Security benefits or the beneficiaries of the Minimum Vital Income be considered affected by this incompatibility.
Likewise, the assumption that compatibility with the State Plan for Access to Housing 2022-2025 is expressly regulated in article 55.1 of this royal decree will not be considered affected by this incompatibility. In this case of compatibility, the sum of the Youth Rental Voucher assistance and the rental or transfer assistance, the latter determined in accordance with the provisions of article 56.1, may not exceed 75% of the amount of the rental income or the price. of the assignment, respectively.
In the other cases of compatibility referred to in the second paragraph of this article, the sum of the Youth Rental Bonus aid and the rental or assignment aid may exceed the above limitation, but may not exceed the amount of the rental income or the price of the transfer, respectively.
Who can qualify for the bonus?
Young people between the ages of 18 and 35 who are Spanish citizens, from an EU country, Switzerland or from third countries with legal residence in Spain will be eligible for the aid.
What income should the beneficiaries have?
Beneficiaries must have recurring economic income, but not more than 24,318 euros per year, that is, 3 times the IPREM, the Public Multiple Effects Income Indicator.
What conditions must the rented house have?
The rented home must be your usual residence and must have a maximum price of 600 euros per month (or up to 900 euros if so decided by each of the autonomous communities).
How are the grants managed?
It is these autonomies that will manage the aid with funds consigned in the State Budget, specifically, 200 million euros for this year 2022.
When does it come into force?
The decree is approved on Tuesday 18 in the Council of Ministers and will be retroactive from January 1.
