Sinaloa.- Annoying, this is how the inhabitants of the Lomas del Ébano neighborhood, in the city of Mazatlán, since they live between water leaks.
The settlers commented that there have been spills for more than a year. In the aforementioned colony there are at least four leaks; on Óscar Ramírez street there are two.
Margarita Núñez, a neighbor of the place, commented that it seems unfair to them that there are leaks of drinking water when there are colonies that lack because of the vital liquid.
Through all the streets of Lomas del Ébano you can see the running water, even lama is observed. They have even made various reports to Jumapam but he does not respond to calls. “This is the management of the leaks, we have never had so many leaks as now, we have already reported many times to Jumapam but nothing else happens and they go away. Everything that we are going through is an injustice, ”said Margarita Núñez.

Due to the accumulation of water, the mosquito plague increased in the area. The mothers of families fear for the safety of their children, because in Sinaloa there are many cases of dengue.
They commented that the health authorities have not come to fumigate.
The residents of the place detailed that on one side of the Lomas court, a community dining room operated, they charged only 10 pesos for the benefit of vulnerable families.
For more than two years it stopped working, and this affected people who came to eat.
“There are many people who came to eat, they took advantage of it because the food was very cheap, the Chemist entered and removed it, now it is a nest of thugs, they have already stolen all the wiring from that little house, before this whole area was very well cared for, there was even police station, “said Margarita Núñez.
The residents of Lomas del Ébano urge the Jumapam authorities to come to repair the leak.
