The man wanted as accused of the femicide of his ex-partner, committed last Sunday in the Chaco town of La Clotilde, published a message on his phone in which he revealed that he had planned to kill the woman’s two daughters, although it is believed that he did not He did so because they were not at the scene of the attack, police sources reported.
“He was about to kill her (s) 2 ijas, but she did not come and she fell. I loved her very much ”(sic)”, wrote Gabriel Ernesto Aceval (45), alias “Chachi”, about a photo of the victim Melina Romero (30) in her underwear that was uploaded to her WhatsApp status on her phone, according to a investigator.
After committing the femicide last Sunday, the man fled to a mountain area, where he is intensely searched by more than 100 policemen from different jurisdictions, since he was identified by witnesses as the perpetrator of the femicide and fled after the fact.
The operation also involved members of the Canes Division, although at the end of this edition the search did not yield positive results.
“Aceval worked all his life in the fields, he knows the mountains very well and we believe that he can survive there for several days,” said an investigation.
Romero, a mother of two daughters, was stabbed to the neck minutes before the start of a soccer game that she was going to play in the complex called “La canchita de Escobar”, located in the San Roque neighborhood.
The sources indicated that the attacker arrived at the scene, where he began to argue with his ex-partner and then attacked her.
“He made a deep cut in the throat,” added the same spokesmen.
The autopsy operation indicated that Romero suffered “a cutting wound that included the only anterior face of the neck, which affected the muscular and visceral planes of the region, as well as the vascular bundle.”
After the crime, Aceval quickly fled to the mountain area from where he made – without success – several calls to mislead the investigators.
