Tottenham host Chelsea on Wednesday night in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.
Spurs have it all to do as they look to reverse a 2-0 deficit against their London rivals – and you can follow all the action live on talkSPORT.
Conte’s men have everything to do against Chelsea
Kane’s big-game record has been criticized – and stats show experts are right
If their first leg was anything to say, however, the club won’t have a flair against the European champions.
Chelsea dominated Spurs from start to finish and the only consolation for Antonio Conte may be it wasn’t three or four.
There is a silver lining that Spurs can make a miraculous comeback, but the odds are stacked against them.
Harry Kane, who had a night to forget in the first leg, will need to be in good shape if the Lilywhites are to stand a chance.
Conte’s team were chasing shadows from Chelsea and he’ll want to see more of Kane in particular
Unfortunately for Spurs loyalists, Kane’s record in the semifinals and finals of his career so far has been dismal.
Both for England and at club level, he mostly went blank on the biggest stage.
In fact, he’s only scored three goals in 13 collective semi-final and final appearances over his career.
In his last six semifinal or final appearances, Kane has only scored one goal and won only twice.
Take a look at his file below …
. – .
Harry Kane was on the losing side of the Champions League final and two EFL Cup finals with Tottenham, and one European Championship final with England
Kane also blanked Croatia in the 2018 World Cup semi-finals

Kane’s recent record and Spurs’ overall form in recent weeks suggest that a tied Chelsea win is a formality.
But anything can happen in football and Spurs have a manager who is used to outdoing himself.
Conte led Chelsea to the title in the 2016/17 season against all odds and has been a series winner throughout his career.
However, Daniel Levy has to fight to keep the Italian in N17 as Conte demanded that he be supported in the market.
“I signed a contract for this season and next season. I think we decided together, the club and I, to make this decision, ”he said after his team’s loss to Chelsea last week.
Conte’s Spurs are still in the works and the Italian asks for signatures
“I don’t think I need a long contract to be sure to work for a club. I think the club should appreciate my work and then extend my contract. But only if I showed the club that I deserved it.
“I repeat, I am not a coach who wants many years of contract. Also, it is not fair. Because I know very well that I am a high level coach with a high salary for the club.
“I am open to improving the situation at Tottenham and I have decided to sign a contract with this club and I am available to give my opinion, to give my vision and it will not be a problem for me, a contract short – only a year to go.
“It won’t be a problem and I don’t want to commit to clubs for many years as I understand that the salary is a big salary for the club and I have to deserve this type of contract.
“It’s OK because Tottenham need to be 120% sure to continue working with me.
“I’m happy to work with this group because they give me great availability. But at the same time, you know that the club must know my vision, must know my opinion on the situation and above all what our ambition is.
