The defense of the former federal deputy Saul Huerta offered before a control judge of the Oriente Prison testimonies and expert evidence stating that the defendant was not on the day, nor in the place where the crime for which he is accused of sexual abuse without violence against a young man was committed, today adult.

“On the part of the defense, various testimonies and various expert witnesses were offered to corroborate this theory of the innocence case; It is an alibi where there are clear, convincing elements that prove that Mr. Saúl was in another place on the day the events allegedly occurred, ”said attorney Rafael Inti Castillo Serrato.
This Wednesday the first hearing of the intermediate stage was held for the accusation of sexual abuse against former federal deputy Saúl Huerta.
There are currently three different accusations against Saúl Huerta.
The first charge is for the crime of equated rape, which led to his outrage, arrest and detention, and occurred in April 2021, when a child under 15 years of age left a hotel located in the Juárez neighborhood, in the center of Mexico City, and requested the help of a police patrol preventive.
The deputy was released for enjoying, at that time, constitutional jurisdiction.
Shortly after, two more alleged victims appeared.
The second accusation was against another young man, now of legal age who lives in the United States and who, upon learning of the first case, went to a Mexican consulate and filed a complaint for sexual abuse.
For this criminal case, this Wednesday the first hearing of the intermediate stage was held, the parties offered the evidence that they will present at the trial.
The third accusation was from another victim, from the state of Puebla, who accused the former federal deputy of sexual abuse. This investigation folder was sent to the Puebla Prosecutor’s Office for its continuation.
The lawyer Rafael Castillo explained that for this second accusation there is an amparo trial that is pending resolution, through which the extinction of the criminal action is sought due to lack of evidence from the public prosecutor.
