The Air Navigation Protection and Safety Technicians and Employees Association (Atepsa) announced yesterday the suspension of a schedule of protest measures that it had planned for this week before the dictation of the mandatory conciliation by the Ministry of Labor.
“The Ministry of Labor issued the mandatory conciliation within the framework of the conflict that we are carrying out with the Argentine Air Navigation Company (EANA). ATEPSA complies and the schedule of measures is suspended until further notice, “the organization said in a statement.
In this way, the initiation of union action measures that could have led to delays and cancellations of flights was canceled.
“As a result of the pandemic, the situation of lack of personnel that we claimed years ago worsened, and there are workers who are carrying out tasks with endowments below the recommended security minimums,” warned the union and requested that EANA (under the orbit of the Ministry of Transportation) provide “answers” to the 2021 peer review clause.
