A lifeguard was killed when he collided with a truck on Route 11

A 39-year-old man died when his motorcycle collided with a truck that was traveling in the same direction on Route 11, at kilometer 345 of the seaside resort of Mar de Ajó, Buenos Aires province of La Costa, police sources reported today .

The victim was identified as Germán Rojo, a native of the town of Lanús, who was in the La Costa district working as a lifeguard on the beaches in this area.

The incident occurred this Wednesday around 9 o’clock, when Rojo was driving his low-displacement motorcycle on Route 11, when upon reaching the Mar de Ajó roundabout he collided with the back of a truck that was stopped in the sector of the shoulder, was indicated in the police report.

As a result of the impact, the motorcyclist died on the spot.

As a result of the road accident, Aubasa reported – through its social network Twitter – that it kept traffic on Route 11, kilometer 345, cut off for an hour, diverting traffic along the collector street.

Police personnel from the La Costa party, a scientist, firefighters and the Same took part.
