3 hospitals in Coahuila are at full capacity before fourth wave of infections

Even if hospital occupancy amounted to 13 percent of beds used in medical units in Coahuila, there are already three IMSS clinics that registered an occupation at maximum capacity, according to the IRAG Network Information System.

It was the General Hospital of Zone 11 in Black stones and the General Hospital of Zone 92 in Zaragoza and Hospital de Especialidades 71 in Keep, the latter also reached the 100 percent in the use of ventilator beds for intensive care (ICU).

In Saltillo IMSS clinic 2 was in the red and reached the 81 percent beds occupied, making it the hospital with the highest occupancy, followed by Detection and Diagnostic Unit, with the 57 percent.

In addition, the General Hospital of Family Medicine Zone 18 in Torreón recorded the 78 percent beds used, while the Piedras Negras General Hospital arrived at 50 percent, to mention the clinics with the highest registration.

In total, the Coahuila Health Secretariat reported the use of 194 thousand 464 beds available in the entity; in addition to 27 fans out of 367 existing, which represented an occupation of the 7 percent in this team.

No hospital in the state reported red numbers in the occupation of ventilators for patients with severe acute respiratory infection (SARI), since the highest was the General Hospital of Family Medicine Zone 18 of the IMSS in Torreón, with the highest 67 percent.

It was followed by clinic 2 of the IMSS in Saltillo, with the 50 percent; and Hospital de Especialidades 71, with the 33 percent.

According to the IRAG Network Information System, only the 71 Specialties Hospital of the IMSS in Torreón reported occupancy of beds with a ventilator for intensive care (ICU), as no other clinic has required hospitalization of patients in these areas.

SECOND WORST DAY IN COAHUILA; NEW RECORD IN THE COUNTRY

Coahuila registered its second worst day of infections when it recorded 900 new cases yesterday of COVID-19. Therefore, 6,076 active cases are already being carried out in the entity, Saltillo being the epicenter with 1,657.
