They put vehicles at the disposal of the neighbors to take furniture to evacuated houses in La Palma

The Cabildo de La Palma has reported this Tuesday that they have been made available to the public cargo vehicles of the Environment, of individuals who voluntarily participate and of the Los Llanos de Aridane City Council to bring furniture to homes in areas that were evacuated by the eruption.

These are belongings that were deposited in the facilities of the La Palma Business Center (former JTI) in El Paso and also in private premises, the Cabildo said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Minister of Security and Emergencies, Nieves Rosa Arroyo, highlights that the Cabildo, from the moment in which the end of the evacuation in various areas of the Aridane Valley began to be decreed, has made this service available to citizens to facilitate the process of returning to the dwellings.

Nieves Rosa Arroyo recalled that the Cabildo, through Sodepal, enabled a warehouse in these facilities for the storage and custody of the furniture of the families who had to evacuate their home due to the volcanic eruption, in a work coordinated by the CEO of the public company, Sodepal.
