In the last hours, the video in which two policemen saved the life to a 15-month-old baby in the town of San Miguel, in full Buenos Aires province. The event, which occurred on Sunday, had repercussions on the networks and obtained the recognition of thousands of Argentines. In dialogue with Radio 10, the officer explained that “it was an inexplicable situation, I was working overtime at the COM in San Miguel, touring the center.” He assured that “we were traveling, we saw the mother and heard the calls for help and we went to help her, we tried to measure the situation because we thought it was a robbery.”
“As soon as my partner got out, I got down behind him and left the door open,” Laura continued her story, who said that together with her partner they saw “the mother with the minor who was fainted” and at that moment when getting out of the car, “My partner took her out of his arms and we immediately put her on the mobile and asked for a sanitary cordon to get to the hospital quickly.”
Laura continued by saying that “I acted with the intuition of a woman because we had the responsibility to warn and alert what was happening so that the hospital so that they were attentive” and explained that “sometimes one forgets the uniform and feels a certain empathy for people”. The latter was told in reference to the informal treatment he had with the minor and with her mother.
Regarding the alert situation that she experienced on the way to the hospital, she said that “a block and a half before arriving at the hospital I see that the baby opens her eyes and becomes aware after resuscitation and there I tried to calm the mother by telling her that she was breathing.” In that sense, when asked about what had happened, Laura remarked that “she was broken when they got off the bus and then she fainted.”
