Snoopy, the most famous black and white beagle in comics and pop culture, is visiting our country to celebrate the legacy of Charles M. Schulz with an exclusive exhibition in Mexico City. Check out the details on this event starring Charlie Brown and all of his friends below.

Where is the Snoopy exhibition in CDMX

More than 70 years after the creation of Peanuts, the famous comic strip of the American cartoonist, comes to life through a gallery that you can already visit in the center of Mexico City. The appointment is in the Mexican Museum of Design (MUMEDI).

When?

The Snoopy exhibition will be at MUMEDI from January 1 to June 16, 2022.

Tickets and schedules

Access to the exhibition has a cost of $ 60 pesos per person. The Mexican Museum of Design hours are from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What will you find in the Snoopy exhibition?

The exhibition consists of a 40-minute guided tour through the life and work of Charles M. Schulz. But you will also know the historical genesis of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and that of all the endearing characters such as Lucy van Pelt or Sally. Gallery includes original sketches of Peanuts and a series of curious facts that you surely did not know. As if that were not enough, in the exhibition you will find large figures to take fun pictures.

According to information from The universal, visitors will find figures of the famous puppy alluding to Mickey Mouse and even with a look flowered with purple and orange colors.

Also, on the ground floor of the museum you will find a restaurant named Food Design MUMEDI, whose dishes pay tribute to Snoopy and his friends. “The interesting thing about this place is that it combines Mexican cuisine, international cuisine and design, resulting in dishes that make the eyes and palate fall in love”, he highlights The universal. In that sense, they can taste dishes inspired by Snoopy, such as waffles decorated with the face of Charlie Brown and his adorable puppy. They will also find fruit cakes and drinks equally inspired by Peanuts.

«The house where the museum is located was owned by the Count of Our Lady of Guadalupe del Peñasco, Don Francisco Mora y Luna, Colonel of Dragones of the Provincial Militias (1719-1788) and his wife, the Countess Ildefonsa Pérez Calderón. Built on the palace of the Spanish conqueror Hernán Cortés, Marquis of the Valley of Oaxaca. Its foundations are part of the pyramid of the Aztec emperor Huehue Moctezuma Ilhuicamina (1440-1469).
