Hartberg – Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, 8:18 a.m.

After six months in Switzerland with FC Luzern, Patrick Farkas is back in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The 29-year-old joined TSV Hartberg. In the “Krone” he looks back on a difficult phase:

“The half year in Switzerland was tough. In terms of sport we were in a negative spiral, my family wasn’t there for that, I had no one around.”

In total, the right-back played ten competitive games for Lucerne, seven of them in the Super League, in which they finished the first half of the season.

Now the Burgenland is close to home again. He bought a house 20 minutes from the Hartberg training ground: “I really missed this environment of simply driving home after training.”

Farkas didn’t notice anything about his stroke in 2019: “I’m fit, I’ve already forgotten that. I’m happy to be able to practice my job and my hobby. Now I want to help the team. With my virtues, combative, running, with irrepressible Sake. “
