Culiacán, Sinaloa.- Faced with the rebound in infections by Covid-19 in the fourth wave of infections by the variant Omicron, the number of positives to the virus affects the officials of the Culiacán City Council, adding 30 cases in recent days, the mayor reported Jesus Estrada Ferreiro.
The municipal president explained that the officials infected with covid-19 are from the municipal presidency area, DIF Culiacán, Urban Development, Public Works, Las Riberas Park, among others.
He assured that he communicates with them every day, who have reported that they are stable and have not presented any other serious complications.
Faced with this situation, the mayor announced that he takes the PCR test every certain time to avoid any situation, the last one was carried out four days ago and it was negative.

Finally, he explained that all Culiacán government officials have the strict instruction to maintain the corresponding health protocols to avoid further infections and detailed that the infections have originated outside of working hours.
