Jaime Arboleda heads the 'Box & Roll' primer this Friday

The double-ranked world champion will play the WBC Latino Ligero Silver title against the Dominican Nicolás Polanco.

The double Panamanian world classified Jaime Arboleda is ready to head the boxing function ‘Box & Roll’ that will take place this Friday, January 14 at the Vasco Núñez de Balboa convention center at the El Panamá hotel.

The companies Sampson Boxing and Best Box, organizers of the event, officially presented on Tuesday the protagonists of the function that will be the first of the year 2022 in Panama.

Arboleda will seek to consolidate himself in the world rankings when he disputes the Silver Latino lightweight championship of the World Boxing Council (WBC) when he fights the Dominican Nicolás Polanco at 10 rounds and 132 pounds.
The Panamanian fighter, with a professional record of 17 wins, two losses and 14 knockouts, is currently ranked No. 8 in the world at 130 pounds in the WBA, while in the WBC he is ranked No. 18 in the same category.
For his part, the Dominican Polanco has a professional record of 20 wins, a loss and a draw.
In the co-main event, the Argentine Hugo Alberto Roldán will face the Colombian Germán Del Castillo for the Latin Silver Superlight Championship at 10 rounds.

Roldán is undefeated in 20 fights, with one draw, while Del Castillo Muñoz has a record of 10 wins, one loss, two draws and 7 knockouts.
In a women’s fight in which the Latin flyweight title of the WBC will be at stake, the Panamanian Natalie Delgado will face the American Gabriela Fundora at 8 rounds.
In the preliminary fights, the return of the Panamanian fighter Ernesto ‘The Problem’ Marín stands out, who will face the Colombian Carlos Suárez at 6 rounds and 135 pounds.
Marín, a native of Colón, is undefeated in nine bouts (five knockouts), while Suarez has a professional record of eight wins, two losses and six knockouts.
In other lawsuits, Abdiel Matute (Panama) vs. David Bejarano (Nicaragua) to four rounds and heavyweight; Alciabiades Ballesteros (Los Santos) vs. Ricardo Rodríguez (Herrera) at four rounds and 147 pounds; and Jordan Salas (Panama) vs Pedro Muñoz López in four rounds and 112 pounds.
