"Gestapo" Macrista: An official of Julio Garro resigned due to union persecution

The Secretary of Transportation of La Plata, the Moyanista Miguel Forte, resigned from that position after the disclosure of the video in which the local mayor was shown, Julio Garro, along with businessmen, members of the Federal Intelligence Agency (AFI) and former officials of the former Buenos Aires governor Maria Eugenia Vidal in a meeting in which legal cases were orchestrated to harm union leaders.

Forte, head of the La Plata section of the Truckers Union, which at the national level leads Hugo moyano, resigned after the current AFI auditor, Cristina Caamaño, filed a complaint two weeks ago with the federal Justice of La Plata after finding in that body a disk that contained a recording made on June 15, 2017 at the Buenos Aires headquarters of Banco Provincia.

“The public and well-known facts in which you and other former officials of the government of María Eugenia Vidal have participated in meetings to set up legal cases against union leaders make it impossible for the union organization to continue providing support and working for their management”, said Forte in a note presented on December 29, in which he made his resignation official and to which Télam had access.

In the audiovisual record that emerged, it is noted that Vidal’s management officials and former intelligence agents allegedly planned to set up legal cases against union organizations, while they held a meeting with construction businessmen from La Plata.

The version of the municipality

However, from the La Plata municipality they explained that the departure of the leader is linked to a restructuring of the cabinet, through which the secretariats will be reduced from 22 to 15 and that of Transportation will be absorbed by the Planning area.

In this context, Garro announced that the communal structure will be reduced “to reduce public spending and cut 80 positions” in the Executive of the capital of the province of Buenos Aires.

“The departure of Forte only has to do with it: the Ministry of Transportation that he led will become dependent on the Ministry of Planning and he no longer had a place in the scheme,” they explained from the Municipality.

In the video, which is now being investigated by the federal Justice of La Plata, appeared, among others, the then Minister of Labor from Buenos Aires, Marcelo Villegas; the former Minister of Provincial Infrastructure, Roberto Gigante; Adrián Grassi, former Undersecretary of Justice of Buenos Aires; Juan Pablo Allan, provincial senator from Together for Change, elected by the eighth electoral section (La Plata); and the mayor of the provincial capital, Julio Garro.

In addition, there were businessmen and spies Juan Sebastián De Stefano, AFI legal director, and Darío Biorci, chief of staff of the intelligence agency during the Cambiemos administration and brother-in-law of Silvia Majdalani, former AFI deputy director.

At the meeting, Villegas expressed his desire to have a “Gestapo” – the political police of the Nazi regime – to “attack the unions.”

Now, the Justice is investigating whether a legal case was “promoted” against Juan Pablo “Pata” Medina, the former leader of the La Plata section of the Union of Construction Workers (Uocra).
