Christian Eriksen is fine-tuning his aim to be able to return to the pitch as soon as possible. Since that June 12, when he left a field in an unpleasant way, the Dane has been working in an organized and calm way with a clear objective: to feel like a footballer again. He is already recovered from the collapse he experienced in the European Championship while defending the interests of Denmark and has been training for almost five months now.
On his personal Instagram account (@ chriseriksen8) he has published a training video that has already exceeded half a million views. In it he is seen running towards a ball placed outside the area. At first and with a placed shot, he surpasses the goalkeeper throughout the squad. Vertonghen, Walker-Peters, Borja Valero or Candreva are some of the footballers who have commented on him in his publication, rejoicing at Eriksen’s progress.
The footballer has already terminated his contract for Inter, as he had to do so on a mandatory basis. The country’s regulations prevent athletes from having an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator, so Eriksen could not continue to be part of Serie A. Now, he is looking for a team because, as he has declared on public television in Denmark, his goal is to reach the 2022 World Cup.
